Why Being Uncomfortable is Good

Why Being UNCOMFORTABLE is GOOD

Right now, my life is uncomfortable AF. And it's something I'm doing on purpose. I'm creating uncomfortableness in my life ON PURPOSE.

Why would I do this to myself? Why would I torture myself this way? Because it’s where the growth happens. It’s where the conditioning happens. It's where we build strength, endurance, where we create the ability to do things we never thought we could.

On my run this morning, the first half hour was downhill and it was AMAZING. I was having so much fun, I felt I could run forever. And then my little app told me,  "You have reached the halfway point."

I turned around and it was uphill the entire way back.

I'm not going to lie - it hurt like hell. I was breathing hard. I was doubting myself. I was questioning whether I could make it the whole way back up the hill. My ankle hurt, my hip flexor hurt, my lower back hurt, and I wanted to stop.

I was coming up with every excuse under the sun as to why it was OK for me to slow down and walk the rest of the way. BUT - I am conditioning my body to do something really big. And I know this is where the growth happens. This uphill... it's where the strength comes from. This is where you build a new body, you build a new mindset, you increase your resiliency.

The same applies in BUSINESS and in LIFE. Growth happens in the uncomfortable.

It’s OK to be scared. It’s OK to feel like you don’t know how to do something. It’s OK to feel like you don’t know how you’re ever going to get through. Keep going. One step at a time. And keep talking to yourself the entire way through.

Check out this video, and I promise you afterwards, you'll be ready to keep going. I share with you how to finally be comfortable, being uncomfortable AF, and how you might actually start to love it
